Wakizashi signed 祐定 Sukesada from the Edo period, Shinto, second half of 1600 with sugata shinogi zukuri, iori mune, tending towards koshi zori. Hada is mokume mixed with itame, very fine. The hamon is gunome midare with traits tending towards suguha in nie deki, with ashi, sunagashi, kinsuji and nie kuzure in the monouchi area. Boshi midare komi with medium kaeri. Nakago ubu, 1 mekugi ana, ha agari kurijiri nakagojiri, katte sagari yasurime. On the blade there is a kizu, a ware in the shinogiji area, as shown in the pictures, due to the age and the opening of the hada. This wakizashi represents an excellent starting point for those who wish to begin studying and collecting nihonto.
